Double Haul Fishing Charters specializes in introducing their clients to the best inshore species the Texas Coastal Bend area has to offer. With such a clear water Rockport has, you can’t miss the opportunity to go sight fishing! Your guide will find tailing and feeding fish. When the fish are found, he will guide you how to cast to them. You will be mainly using artificial baits and flies. Wading on the flats is also possible if you let your guide know in advance. You will need wading boots and waders for colder water. Double Haul Fishing Charters can cater to beginners and seasoned professionals. Both can come to Rockport’s flats and find something to work with. Your day on the water will see you fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, and Flounder. All trips come with the finest fly fishing gear by Orvis and Sage. Rods, reels, and tackle by Shimano, G-Loomis, and Waterloo will be available for those who want to sight fish. Lures, soda, and water will be provided. A fish cleaning service will be available after the trip. Feel free to bring your own snacks. Please note that a fishing license is not included.
