They depart from Carrum, Melbourne, where Skipper Mark and his deckhand will take you fishing for the prize catch of Snapper, with bycatch of Flathead, Pinkies, Snook, Salmon, Rock Cod and Gummy Sharks. The boat you will be fishing aboard is a 28’ Axium. It is powered by twin Mercury engines and equipped with Garmin and Lowrance electronics. It features a large deck space and live bait tank, as well as a porta pottie. Trips include the use of all fishing equipment and lures. Had a great morning out on the bay chasing the elusive snapper. Our skipper Mark was very happy to move to a number of different marks, and try different fishing techniques, and the gear we were fishing with was all top class. Mark was also full of helpful information that would benefit me in my kayak fishing. My mate and I both caught large snapper up to 6kg (and a few smaller but still good sized ones) and would certainly recommend Mark's charters for both novice or experienced fisherman. Brilliant morning Mark, thanks again.

I have been on many Charters chasing that Elusive Snapper, but have only come home with a feed of Flathead. I now know why. It is all about the Skipper. Our charter started out like many others, but Mark would not give up. He took us to at least six different spots, tried different techniques and numerous baits and lures, until we finally hit the jackpot. His persistence paid off and we were very pleased when we landed a couple of nice pan size snapper, but I was over the moon when he talked me through landing my first big snapper. (73cms and 4.6kgs) My mate was a bit disappointed that I got the big one Ha ha. That all changed shortly after (79cms and 6.1kgs) and we both went home very happy men. Thanks again Mark. I will be back to see you again. Maybe for a Gummy :)

Perfect day on the water Can’t speak highly enough of Mark as a captain. He went above and beyond to find the fish and make sure we had the best possible chance at getting a few big fish. Great boat and excellent gear. All in all a very enjoyable day for all involved and of all the charters in the bay I’ve done I’d say this was the best. Next time we want to hit the Snapper we’ll be giving Mark a call!
